• Trade qualification as a diesel mechanic, panel beater, body maker or boiler maker. Previous experience in heavy vehicles is a must
• Previous estimating experience will be highly regarded
• Strong computer literacy, including the ability to learn our computer system (iBodyshop) to deliver an efficient and effective service to our business
• Excellent communication skills and a positive work ethic
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers and assessors
• Can multitask and work well under pressure
• Able to work effectively within a team

What you’ll need to bring

• Major & minor accident repair work on trailers
• Removing damaged panels and parts by unbolting or cutting them away.
• Using oxy-acetylene and electric welding equipment to cut and join replacement sections or damaged panels.
• Repairing bodywork on vehicles, filling, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Fabricate and repair framework of vehicles, trailers and equipment using machinery and all types of welding and cutting equipment.
• Can adhere to workplace policies as well as WHS standard
• Ability to work unsupervised
