Royans Christchurch Opens New State-of-the-Art Facility in Hornby

Christchurch, NZ – November 1, 2025

Royans New Zealand is proud to announce that our Christchurch and Wigram workshops are relocating to a brand-new, purpose-built Heavy Vehicle Repair facility at 24 Aruhe Road, Hornby, and we will begin operating from this new site on Monday, 3rd November 2025. This move marks a major milestone for the company and the Canterbury transport industry.

The relocation brings together two sites under one roof, creating New Zealand’s premier heavy vehicle repair centre. With an undercover footprint of approximately 3,000 m², the new facility is designed to deliver faster turnaround times, advanced repair capabilities, and a streamlined customer experience.

A Facility Built for the Future

The Hornby branch features cutting-edge technology and equipment, including:

  • Two full-sized truck spray booths: 
    • 18-metre Turflow semi-downdraft booth
    • 20-metre Turflow full downdraft drive-through booth with split wall capability
  • Two Josam Chassis Frame Alignment Systems
  • Josam Cab Alignment Tower
  • And a full suite of specialist heavy transport repair equipment

This investment ensures Royans Christchurch can handle everything from collision repairs and refinishing to sandblasting and fleet imaging and signwriting, all in one central location.
